I am a pretty hands off photographer. So I may give you ideas and prompts, but I want your family to feel (and look) as natural as possible. I will never force your kid to sit and smile. We might get a couple “look at the camera and smile” photos. but mostly, I want the real faces, not the constipated “cheese” face.

Sometime it takes a little time, thats okay. I’m used to it. Give me a chance to get to know your kids and then proceed accordingly. It’s too much when both your parents AND a stranger are all telling you what to do AND there’s a camera involved. Instead, let me get on their level and do my thing. Kids are wild creatures. Sometimes they behave and other times they dont- that is okay. That is normal. I promise I’m not judging your parenting. Photoshoots are meant to be fun!
