a journey to mother-
hood.

"Everything grows rounder and wider and weirder, and I sit here in the middle of it all and wonder who in the world you will turn out to be."

FAQs

  • My biggest regret is not getting maternity photos with my first son, 15 years ago. I felt uncomfortable in my changing body and didn’t think I’d want to remember that season. I made every excuse in the book as to why maternity photos weren’t a priority…So I get it… and I’ve herd the same story from lots of moms.

But I think we can all agree, in hindsight, we wish we had just gotten the damn photos.

  • I offer 3 types of maternity sessions:

BARE: simple, raw, nude with a backdrop. Just YOU.
IN-HOME: real, comfy, casual, in your home. Can include partner/family.
OUTDOORS: Natural, earthy, surrounded by beautiful Alaskan scenery. Can include partner/family.

  • Absolutely not. You dont haven’t to do anything you aren’t comfortable with. AND if you do choose to be nude, I will never share your photos without prior permission.

  • I typically recomend between 34-38 weeks. However, ultimately it is up to you! Every body is different. Maybe you pop a little earlier and dont want to wait until the last few weeks, totally fine. Maybe you pop a bit late, in which case I recommend waiting until you get that full belly feeling.
I dont want you to be swollen and uncomfortable and miserable, but we do want to celebrate and highlight your growing belly- because the belly is the star of the show.
