Homebirth : Lumen

When I got the “it’s time!” text, I asked what I usually ask “awesome, where’s mama at? how dilated?” and the respond was my favorite: She’s not having any checks, she’s in tune with her body and we’re close.
”Say no more, on my way?”
When I walked in, the lights were low, it was quiet, but the room was so full of peace and love.
Watching a mama who is that in tune with her body is a powerful thing. She brought life into the world. I am just in awe. Every time.
